At the foot of a misty mountain there lived a poor boy or he was a boy who was made a man upon the death of his parents. He was in love with two things a woman named Adriana and his family of two little brothers and a sister.
Adriana was to be married to a bald and ugly rich man in the next village by her parents; Agus was her prince charming in white shining armor. They will run from the village and climb the cold top of the mountain where the heavens touches the earth in white clouds to see each other.
The two named the top of the misty mountain ‘Heaven Of Love Mountain’ that became legend of two mystery lovers. It is where lovers are blinded by the mist and only love shows them the way.
Poor Agus would go hunting to support his brothers and a sister, but soon the thought of Adrianna had clouded his head that he do not remember he is the leader of his family, nor listen to the worries that rumble in their hungry stomachs.
He was in love with a fair and charming ward soon to be stolen from him by marriage and pressed by his manly contribution to his brothers and sister.
Agus was well drained from the worries of both sides; he then decided to remove his family from his scale but still it his worries doubled by the day.
He had thought planned on eloping with Adrianna but it his plans were always and unconsciously thwarted by his brothers. They noticed the strange behavior of Agus and asked him repeatedly at supper and Agus confessed.
‘I am in love with Adrianna, and I was thinking of deserting my family and eloping with her. I am a foolish poor boy who wants a woman beyond my shilling; my place is here with you my brothers and my beautiful sister’
A silence crept through the room and it seemed as though it blew a wind that turned all their food cold.
Finally, the day that Adrianna was to be married came and Agus had written a letter and hidden it in a place where it can be discovered upon his death to his brothers.
Agus was waiting to ambush the chariot that will carry Adrianna away from the village.
He waited and waited patiently until it became dark, he wondered if they have taken another route but that was the only road to their village.
He returned home broken and alone in the rain, wet in his wretchedness. He entered and saw his brothers and sisters laughing and drinking.
His little sister set him down gently on a chair and gave him a drink but he was too sad to drink when he raised his eyes he saw Adriana in his vivid view.
He was still dreaming until she embraced him and kissed him. His family had married Adrianna for him with the wealth their father left for them. So it turns out that everybody was happy.
