A Boot On An Ant Hill
BOOT ON AN ANT HILL
continued...
Pressed it on their waiting
backs as it is written in the books of the old ‘theudos’ script a parable lies uninterpreted by the council of the
wise fairies named the calothenians. It is said to be rumored to royal ears
from the mute chambers of the lords. There isn’t much than fun when their magic
was gone and their wings lost from their fall. A bootlander named Flinch, once
upon an
unnamed time lived there oh it was upon an unnamed time as time does
not matter in their world it comes and goes as it wishes, backward and forward;
made backward forward and forward backward. There were neither past nor present
only now matters to them, time was stale and uncertain.
Flinch, had done much with
cheap tricks to adorn his house with the beauty of his craft, tricks he
conjures from the gift of a pocket magic book of spells called the Dezonee that
was traded to him for two mould o magical dusts. He had his wall flattened with
silhouette of his dream hung upside down. It was the picture of a bootlander
fairy that has a face that looks an Antara from the ceiling and floor and a
fairy Godfather from a normal wall. It is so as his tricks could make mirage
out of normal, one amongst the four walls is unreal to the eyes. In his abode
the floor was the ceiling and the floor the same that gave him hope that he’ll
fly again soon as he endures to wait but flight is another secret that is not
spoken off by neither the landers nor the wise council of fairies.
They dine on the flatness of
their five walls. Oh they? Of course Flinch was not unmarried he has a
beautiful and fair fairy wife named whose touch brings fertility, they are the
ones that bless the dews that touches the earth in which flowers and plants
lay; she shares the bloodline of very special fairies. He also shared wonderful
bloodline with his wife in his two adorable children that his wife bore him, a
new culture the meeting of the war blood and the fertility blood. The two
graceful children one of which is a fairy male called Azusa and the other beauty a fairy female
called Dania named after her grandmother, dazzling with wooing smile that is
said to attract sunlight into a dark abode.
But in their world so giant a
shoe with over a hundred of hundreds wingless fairies question still arise
amongst them why their world was too small and has no blue sky.
At home one night, at a dinner
of rounded table with Flinch sitting on the edge of the right end and the
mother of course on the left burn of rainbow flames. If there was one thing
that fairies love is beauty of light and illumination, it is said to be the
source of their magic. Even with so much beauty the heart isn’t easily
satisfied while feasting on the wonderful meal the two wise children of Flinch
asked their father.
“Father,
as the city dazzles with light of magic in its day’night sky but why is the sky
never blue?”
And her father in dismay
looked so surprised with a look as though his face was washed and the water was
light. He answered and wisely dismissed the topic
“Azuza,
there’s no blue sky there’s only light and darkness. Please let’s eat more and
do less talking, diniah my star, how was school today?”
She gave a fair smile and
answered, we were thought illumination
And the crafty spell of
levitation.
“she quickly jumped out of the chair and
said” Father let me show you how with a little demonstration”
The dad insisted and told her there was no need but
Diniah been a pessimistic daughter had already cast the spell
“suna’lume and all them were floating in the
air as though they are underneath the sea only that it is not water but just dull
air”
But Azuza quickly dismissed
Diniah’s spell with another as he chants ‘tis repente’.
Flinch was in awe that words
ran from his mouth as the dinner was turned into a magic show by Azuza and Diniah
and when he had recovered from the surprise he screamed
“I only asked the both of you to tell me
what you have learned in school not show it off, magic is discretion and
shouldn’t be abused. Now both of you tend your wand on the table”
Both Azuza and Diniah beging to batter words
“it was your fault Azuza, always in
haste to show off now you have banned me my wand”
“that is a lie, it was after your
counter spell that Dad decided we tend our wand, it was your fault not mine”.
And then their father intervened
as the mother’s countenance also confirm the need of the father’s intervention
“Keep shush the both of you. The food is
getting cold!”
They suddenly went back and
continued eating but the murmuring did not stop. Azuza murmured as much as
Diniah but both did not say a word that will mean something mildly
incriminating.
The mother went on discussing
with the father about the affairs of the family as an attempt to minimize their
disrespect and punishment hence.
Sooner than they had their
dinner and their mother set them both to bed for a good night sleep. It is
amazing how sleep rests our body but it is no surprise at all that although
Dannia is fast asleep but her queries are quite awake, they do not sleep. They
are the much forbidden fate that must come to pass.
The night passed swiftly as
soon as the spell of the darkness was broken by the night fairy as he cast
another for daylight and its blessings. But strangely the bootlanders do not
know this secret as it will arouse so many questions from the wise fairies.
Fate intended something that
was never expected not by the wise ten of the great city of Antara. In a thousand of believers and a
hundred more there would still be one fairy that bears doubt about keeping the
secret of the wise ten. The history keeper....

How do you always come up with such stories and poetry? I am wondering.
